A comprehensive solar street lighting design prepared in corporation with Signify, which was as per Dubai RTA standards was projected by Gerab Lighting team and a total 254 streetlights were installed to meet the client’s prerequisite. The Lighting Solution was “Vertical Solar PV Integration Standalone System”, which is the best and most efficient system to integrate solar photovoltaic technology into lighting systems. Here the solar panels are placed in the vertical position wrapped around the lighting pole itself, the battery is Gel based which is placed inside the ground. Also, it is more wind-resistant by reducing wind-loads , Easier to clean due to less dust accumulation, More light is received evenly and efficiently, It can charge more power in the daylight even in darker climates & seasons.
